Distance Learning
Online Classroom and Community
The Rose Online Classroom and Community allows participation in quality classes and online communities from both on and off campus through a web browser. The Desire2Learn (D2L) learning management system is the platform for the Rose Online Classroom and Community. You must log in to access online classrooms and community spaces customized for your account. Please visit the Rose D2L Helpdesk for information about this system.
Internet Courses
Rose State College offers Internet courses in a wide variety of disciplines. These courses are designed with the same rigor as our on-campus classes but with flexibility of access that only the Internet allows. Many students choose to arrange their schedules so that they only come to campus two or three days per week and take other courses online.
Telecourses
Rose State College conducts a variety of telecourses through the Mid-Del area cable television systems, through the Oklahoma PBS affiliate station, and through special arrangements.
Interactive Television Courses
Rose State College serves as a receive site for courses being broadcast from other colleges and universities over the OneNet Telecommunications Network. Students who wish to enroll in these courses should contact the originating institution about enrollment and the availability of a receiving room. Rose State College cannot commit as a receive site until a request is made from the college or university where the broadcast originates.
