Rose State College Hosts MetroFamily Kids Fest EventSaturday, June 3: MetroFamily is bringing Kids Fest to Rose State College! The metro’s best annual party for families will include hands-on fun for kids and more.

Families will enjoy dozens of children’s activities such as petting zoos, stage performances, inflatables, crafts, character meet and greets and face painting at Kids Fest 2023, to be held June 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rose State College Student Union and outdoor lawn area, 1910 Hudiburg Drive, Midwest City.

“Kids Fest provides the opportunity for families to learn more about the community and have loads of family fun,” says Sarah Taylor, MetroFamily’s president. “The atmosphere at this party is almost magical, as children and their families enjoy the lively activities and connect with so many community partners.”

Families at Kids Fest will enjoy:

  • Petting zoos from Chester’s Party Barn and Extreme Animals
  • Meet and greets with princesses, super heroes and Star Wars characters Bounce houses
  • Hands-on art projects and games
  • A contest with grand prizes that include a year-long membership at the YMCA of
  • Greater OKC and family accommodations at the Gaylord Texan resort
  • Stage shows by Lucas Ross, well-known local comedian and banjo player
  • Mini-classes provided by the YMCA of Greater OKC
  • Touch a Truck
  • Pioneer Library System’s Maker Mobile
  • Arena51 Nerf Battle Zone
  • Food trucks
  • Over 30 vendor booths each hosting a kid-friendly activity

Parking is free and admission is only $5 each for ages 2 to 17 in advance or $8/child at the door. Adults are free. Most activities are free with a few like face painting incurring a cost. Families can find details and preregister to save money at metrofamilymagazine.com/kidsfest.
