DESCRIPTION:Hunger Simulation “Tackling Hunger Bootcamp” is sponsored by Rose State College Campus Resource Center and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. \nWant to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges many people face in our community?\nThis eye-opening experience is designed to deepen empathy\, spark important conversations\, and inspire real change in our community. Whether you are a faculty member\, staff member\, student\, or serve in the community\, your participation matters! \nParticipants:\nWe need at least 25 people to step into the shoes of someone experiencing poverty. This hands-on simulation will provide you with a deeper understanding of the daily challenges faced by low-income families. \nVolunteers:\nWe need 15 volunteers to help facilitate the event and ensure everything runs smoothly. \nEvent Details:\nDate: July 30\, 2025\nTime:  11:30-2:30 (check-in will start at 10:30)\nLocation: Rose State College – Jeanie Webb Student Union (FNB Community Bank Ballroom) 1910 Hudiburg Drive\, Midwest City\, OK 73110\nLunch Provided: Sponsored by the Rose State College Campus Resource Center \nImportant Note:\nIf you sign up\, please commit to attending! The simulation requires a specific number of participants to take place.
