Quick Facts About The Health Information Management Program At Rose State College
- 15 students are accepted to the program each fall
- Applications are accepted February 1-April 15 each year
- General Education and Support/Related courses may be taken with program courses
- Upon program acceptance, the program is two years in length
- Professional courses are only available during daytime hours
- Graduates are eligible to apply to sit for the RHIT® national certification examination through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)

The Health Information Management accreditor of Rose State College is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for Associate degree in Health Information Management has been reaffirmed through 2028.
