Our College

On behalf of the students, faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to the Rose State College website. Whether you are considering coming here as a degree-seeking student, a person interested in lifelong learning classes, or just plan to attend a performance, we want to make your experience on campus rewarding and memorable.

Rose State College is dedicated to delivering academic excellence through over 60 associate degree-granting programs. We know that creating a successful learning environment is about more than just transferring knowledge. It’s also about recognizing students as individuals and providing the mentoring they need to accomplish their goals and dreams. That’s why our focus is on small class sizes, student tutoring and support services.

With the right support and encouraging environment, we know our students will be successful.

The Rose State campus is also a place for the entire community. The college offers such a wide variety of programs and services it is hard not to find something here to try! Our Community Learning Center offers both its innovative Kids College curriculum as well as non-credit courses for adults and seniors. The Professional Training Center provides advisement on starting a business, offers corporate and employee development classes, and delivers targeted training programs in such critical Oklahoma industries as aerospace.

Cultural diversity is also evident everywhere. It starts with our student body, which is 40% minority, and extends to the wide variety of events sponsored by the college each year. These include Rose State Live, a performance series that brings nationally recognized performers to our state-of-the-art theater. Other events include Heritage Day, celebrations of Hispanic Heritage and Black History months, Poetry at Rose, student plays, a powwow and so much more.

Rose State is proud to have the support of the Central Oklahoma communities we serve. Our faculty and staff are committed to making every student and visitor feel welcomed and valued.
