Academic Innovation

Academic Innovation provides instructional design and technology support to faculty who wish to build quality on-campus, online and hybrid (or blended) courses. This is the area that administers and manages the Canvas integrated learning platform used in nearly all classes. 

Internet Courses

Rose State College offers Internet courses in a wide variety of disciplines. These courses are designed with the same rigor as our on-campus classes but with flexibility of access that only the Internet allows. Many students choose to arrange their schedules so that they only come to campus two or three days per week and take other courses online. Learn more.

Hybrid Courses

Hybrid classes combine on-campus meetings with online work to meet academic requirements. Check the footnotes of the section in which you enroll for more information regarding the dates of on campus class meetings. Hybrid courses rely heavily upon the same integrated learning platform that is used in online classes. Learn more.

This integrated learning platform allows participation in classes and online communities from both on and off campus through a regular web browser. Learn more.

Starlink

The College has access to more than 30 Starlink video titles in DVD format. All of these titles and others are available in streaming format on the Starlink website.
