"Higher Education Day at the State Capitol” is an annual event that gives students, faculty and staff from Oklahoma's public colleges and universities the opportunity to meet with legislators and explain the value and importance of higher education in Oklahoma. Rose State College supported the event by making the trip to the Capitol to visit with legislators. President Jeanie Webb and representative students even had an opportunity to visit with Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt in person.

“It’s always exciting to visit our beautiful State Capitol. Particularly on this annual event when we have an opportunity to show our support for higher education in Oklahoma,” said President Webb. “We understand the impact higher education has on people’s lives and the State of Oklahoma. We are so fortunate our State Regents remain committed to accessible and affordable public higher education for all Oklahomans,” she continued.
