Jimmy Lawson Awarded ‘Phil Wahl Abolitionist of the Year’ Award Published April 23, 2021

Rose State professor, Jimmy Lawson, has been awarded the "Phil Wahl Abolitionist of the Year" Award by the Oklahoma Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty. This award was given to Jimmy for his tireless work on the commutation of his close friend, Julius Jones!

Jimmy teaches personal finance and accounting at Rose State. He is also the owner of JL Basketball Training, which provides basketball training and life skills to youth.
