The fall semester is right around the corner and enrollment season is officially here. With that being said, we have put together a list of frequently asked questions to help new and returning students get back in the swing of things here at Rose State!
Can I still enroll for the fall?
Sure can! Enrollment is open until August 26th. The Rose State College Enrollment Management team will be available the week of August 15th – August 20th for extended hours to assist you. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 am-7:00 pm, Wednesday 9:00 am-7:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am-6:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am-2:00 pm. When can I enroll for the Spring 2023 semester?
Spring enrollment will open up for returning students on October 31st and for all students on November 7th. To enroll, go to Enrollment (rose.edu).
What day does school start?

How do I know when to pay tuition?
Tuition isn’t due on a certain date, but you will have to have it paid before you can enroll for the next semester.
How do I know if I qualify for Federal Aid or Ticket to Rose and how do I check the status of my FAFSA?
The good news is that the Rose State College Financial Aid team is ready to help answer your questions. Give them a call at 405-733-7424. What is the process to transfer to a 4-year institution?
You will need to request a transcript from the Admissions office. All other steps will be handled through the institution you are transferring to. For more information, go to Transfer Credit Policy (rose.edu).
Can I get my student ID and parking pass once I arrive, or do I need to do that before?
You can get them when you arrive if you don’t have time before. Just be sure to park in the guest parking outside the Student Union, Administration building, or across the street on Hudiburg Drive to avoid being ticketed.
Where can I get a parking pass?
You can get your parking pass in the cashier’s office in the administration building. Make sure to bring your license plate number with you and always hang it on your mirror when you’re parking on campus.
When do parking passes expire?
Normally, they are good for two semesters, but always double-check the date sticker at the bottom of your pass!
I still need to take my accuplacer, where do I go for that?
Enrollment and Specialized Testing is on the 2nd floor of the Student Services building. Make sure to bring a photo ID!
Can we take the ACT/SAT test at the college?
Rose State College is a verified testing site for the ACT test. To register and schedule your next ACT test, please visit act.org. If you are needing test scores just for placement, you can take our accuplacer instead. It’s very similar to the ACT.
When will I get my roommate assignments and move-in day?
RSC Residence Life has already sent out roommate assignments, so make sure to check your email for yours. PLC Move-In Day is August 15th and Regular Student Move-In Day is August 18th. If you’d like to fill out an application for housing, please go to rose.edu/housing. Housing applications are open year-round. If you have questions, please contact the Residence Life office at (405) 733-7490.
Do you have basketball courts?
The Rose State Volleyball team allows our intramural basketball league to use their court in the spring for intramural sports.
Can I have a pet live in the dorms with me?
Pets are not allowed in the apartments or pods at The Village. Service animals are allowed with proper documentation with the Residence Life office.
How do I purchase RSC gear?
You can get them for free at any of the Student Engagement events or make a purchase in the RSC bookstore in the Student Union. Make sure to keep an eye out for when they release the event schedule for this semester! I have a big gap between classes. Where can I go?
So many good places! The LRC for Underground Coffee, the Student Union atrium/the TFCU Café, Student Engagement office, or the Wellness Center for a workout!
Are Raider Days happening again this year?
