Rose State College Hosted Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony Published December 1, 2023

On Thursday, November 30^th, Rose State College hosted its annual Holiday Lighting event, an occasion open to the public. 

Despite the rain, the holiday event proceeded as scheduled, as the Jeanie Webb Student Union transformed into Santa’s Workshop. The lighting ceremony kicked off the evening’s festivities, followed by a concert featuring the singing talents of Soldier Creek Natural Notes directed by Marcellous Hankins. Visitors enjoyed crafts, cookies, hot cocoa, and special appearances by the Grinch, Elf, and Cindy Lou Who.  

The joyous occasion brought together students, faculty, staff, and the local community to celebrate the holiday season.
