At Rose State College, the support from donors and the college foundation is making a significant impact on students' lives through over 400 scholarships awarded each semester. These scholarships provide vital assistance to students who call Rose State home. With scholarship applications opening on January 1st and the first priority deadline approaching on March 1st, it's crucial for students to be aware of the resources available to them. 

Under the leadership of Rose State President Dr. Jeanie Webb, the college's leadership class awards 150 scholarships annually. Through these scholarships and the mentorship provided by the President’s Leadership Class, many students graduate from Rose State debt-free, equipped as leaders in their communities. 

The Ticket to Rose Scholarship program is tailored to support individuals from the immediate surrounding areas of Rose State, offering tuition assistance to those whose other scholarships may fall short. Residents or graduates of the Carl Albert, Choctaw, Del City, Midwest City, or Star Spencer school districts are eligible to apply for this scholarship opportunity. 

Situated just two miles from Tinker Air Force Base, Rose State is deeply committed to supporting veterans, active military personnel, and military dependents. Recognized as a military-friendly school by Victory Media for five consecutive years, Rose State ranks among the top 15% of schools nationwide dedicated to serving the military community. The college offers several military-specific scholarships through partnerships with Tinker Air Force Base and Tinker Federal Credit Union, some of which include leadership programs focused on communication skills, teamwork, and character training for military spouses. 

Many donors express a preference for their scholarships to benefit specific divisions within Rose State, such as the business and information technology division, engineering and science division, health sciences division, and liberal arts & sciences division. Each division offers a unique array of scholarships, with a priority deadline for applications set for April 1st. 

Rose State also facilitates opportunities for Native American students to access tribal or agency grant funds. Upon acceptance to Rose State and completion of the FAFSA, Native American students can have their financial aid office submit a needs analysis form directly to their agency or tribe. 

While tuition waiver scholarships are available exclusively to Oklahoma residents, they do not cover books or fees. Additionally, Rose State offers athletic scholarships in baseball, softball, as well as men’s and women’s soccer.
