Rose State College (RSC) and the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) recently signed two new articulation agreements that will allow RSC students in the multimedia and supply chain associate degree programs to transfer credits into UCO’s bachelor's programs.
The articulation agreements pertain to RSC students enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science in Multimedia Digital Design or Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics options.
“This partnership will enable many students in multimedia and supply chain associate degree programs to seamlessly transition from Rose State to UCO in pursuit of their bachelor’s degrees,” said Dr. Jeanie Webb, Rose State College president. “Our commitment extends beyond education; we ensure that students receive support at every stage of their journey to advance their education and successfully enter Oklahoma’s workforce.”
Most jobs in the top 100 critical occupations require education beyond high school, with most requiring an associate degree or higher. Both logisticians and graphic designers are on Oklahoma's 100 Critical Occupations list for 2021-2030.
“Our growing partnership with Rose State affirms the University of Central Oklahoma’s commitment to meeting students where they are and ensuring access to a relevant, quality college education,” said UCO President Todd G. Lamb. “Together, we are meeting Oklahoma’s critical workforce needs while giving our students a solid foundation for a successful career.”
These agreements add to the list of more than 70 articulation agreements between RSC and UCO, expressing a shared commitment to student access and success.
