Dr. Jeanie Webb Receives Oklahoma Small Business Development Center Stakeholder Advocate Award

Rose State College President Dr. Webb, a long-time supporter and advocate of the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center (OKSBDC), has been awarded the OKSBDC Stakeholder Advocate Award for the 2023-2024 performance year. This recognition honors Dr. Webb’s outstanding contributions and support in advancing the mission of the OKSBDC to empower small business owners and entrepreneurs throughout Oklahoma. 

At Rose State College, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is at the forefront of growing Oklahoma’s workforce by supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners. Whether individuals need help starting their business, developing a business plan, or navigating government procurement opportunities, the Rose State SBDC offers expert business coaching and consulting services at no cost. 

The SBDC provides tailored assistance, including one-on-one counseling, research, and referrals to help business owners develop the planning, management, and financial skills necessary for success. Areas of expertise include:

  • Business Plan Development
  • Marketing Assessments
  • Cost and Financial Analysis
  • Capital Resources, Financial Packaging, & Forecasting
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping 

The Rose State SBDC also specializes in government procurement assistance, helping small and minority-owned businesses access federal, state, and local government contracts.   

Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the SBDC remains committed to building economic growth by providing entrepreneurs and business owners the tools and resources needed to succeed.
