Rose State College (RSC) announces a major scholarship award that will support first-generation college students. Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB), a Dallas-based subsidiary of Arca Continental and one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in the United States, has awarded RSC a $100,000 First Generation Scholarship to assist students who are the first in their families to attend college.
“Rose State College is honored to partner with Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages in supporting our first-generation students,” said Rose State College President Dr. Jeanie Webb. “This scholarship will provide much-needed financial relief and open doors for students who may not have considered college an option.”
This generous scholarship will provide crucial financial support to eligible students in 2025, helping them overcome economic barriers that might otherwise prevent them from pursuing higher education. First-generation students often face unique challenges, including financial constraints and limited access to academic resources. By investing in these students, RSC and CCSWB aim to create life-changing opportunities that empower the next generation of leaders.
“We believe in the power of education to transform lives,” said Cindy Mikeman, Executive Director of RSC Foundation and Resource Development. “The First Generation Scholarship program reflects Rose State’s commitment to helping students reach their full potential and become future leaders in Oklahoma’s workforce.”
Rose State College encourages all eligible students to apply for this remarkable scholarship opportunity. For more information about scholarship qualifications and the application process, visit RSC Scholarships.
