Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Celebrates State and National Recognition of Members and Advisors Published April 8, 2025

Rose State College Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) announces several outstanding members of the chapter recently received prestigious state and national honors for academic excellence, leadership, and service.

Dynasty Poire, RSC Chapter President, and Moises Ramirez, an active chapter member, have been selected for the esteemed All-Oklahoma Academic Team. This honor recognizes exceptional students across the state for academic achievement and community involvement. Dynasty and Moises were formally recognized at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Tuesday, March 25th.

In addition, Dynasty Poire and James Hayes Robinson, another outstanding chapter member, have been named semifinalists for the 2025 Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship—a highly competitive national scholarship supporting the nation’s top community college students.

Dynasty Poire’s list of individual achievements continues with the following national awards:

  • 2024 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar
  • 2025 New Century Transfer Pathway Scholar
  • 2025 All-USA Academic Team Member

These recognitions highlight Dynasty’s remarkable leadership and dedication and elevate the entire chapter’s reputation on the state and national stage.

The chapter also recently attended the Spring 2025 OK/AR Regional Meeting in Fort Smith, Arkansas, earning several chapter and advisor accolades:

  • Five Star Chapter Award
  • Horizon Advisor Award – Leanne May
  • Certificate of Merit: Most Distinguished Chapter Advisor – Leanne May
  • Theme 4 Honors In Action Award of Distinction
  • Top Five Honors In Action Certificate of Distinction
  • Top Five Distinguished Chapter Certificate of Distinction

These honors recognize the hard work and vision of the chapter, as well as the incredible guidance of advisors Leanne May and Julie Dill-Burnett.

RSC’s chapter attended the 2025 PTK Catalyst Convention in Kansas City, MO, where they received a Top 50 Distinguished Honors in Action (HIA) Project Award on the international level.
