Rose State College proudly hosted its 19th Annual Women’s Conference in the FNB Community Bank Ballroom. The conference brought together a dynamic group of speakers, professionals, and attendees for a full day of inspiration, empowerment, and connection.
Themed “Rooted in Strength, Rising with Purpose,” this year’s conference encouraged women to embrace their personal and professional journeys with confidence and determination. The event served as a platform for networking, growth, and celebrating the impact of women leaders.
Paige Stramski, Rose State College’s Director of Student Engagement, opened the conference with an energizing welcome introducing RSC President Dr. Jeanie Webb. Dr. Webb encouraged the women in the room to connect with each other citing times she has relied on her strong professional network.
Elizabeth Ortiz, an intern at the RSC Campus Resource Center, offered additional insight, reflecting on the power of mentorship and resilience. Through her icebreaker game, Ortiz asked the guests in the room to reflect on a set of questions at their tables.

The event culminated with an inspiring keynote from Dr. Chelsey Branham, associate professor at Smith College School of Social Work, whose address challenged attendees to embrace their leadership capabilities and lead with integrity and purpose.
