American Indian Association

The mission of the association is to focus on the culture of Native American students, offer assistance to help students be successful, work with faculty members and administrators to help make Rose State the Native American Studies Center of Oklahoma City, increase the enrollment of Native American students by actively recruiting Native Americans interested in higher education, work toward decreasing the attrition rate among Native American students while attending Rose State by offering tutors for those students in need of assistance and to provide a social environment for Rose State Native American students and those interested in the Native American culture.

Spring Contest Pow Wow

On behalf of the Rose State College American Indian Association, you are invited to attend the 4th Rose State College Spring Contest Powwow on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The powwow will be held on the Rose State College campus. Arts & crafts booths are available for $35 or a donated item of equal value, no gift cards accepted. Vendors will provide own set up (table, chairs, etc.) Vendor space is on a first come –first serve basis. Please make checks payable to the Rose State College American Indian Association. All vendor registrations must be received by 5:00 P.M., Friday, April 14, 2023.
