Dan Ratcliff is a professor of Environmental Science at Rose State College.  He received his BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Ecology and his MS in Environmental Science both from Oklahoma State University.  Mr. Ratcliff has been a faculty member at RSC for the last 13 years where he also has duties as the program coordinator for the Environmental Science degree program.  In this capacity he has worked closely with his supervisors and grown the program considerably during his tenure.  In addition to Mr. Ratcliff’s profession as an educator, he also owns an environmental consulting firm, Veteran Environmental. Some of his consulting work consists of wetland delineations, stream surveys, environmental audits, stormwater permits and endangered species habitat evaluations for the American Burying Beetle.

Mr. Ratcliff has been in the United States Army Reserves for the last 20 years.  He currently teaches the Military History course to ROTC Cadets at the University of Central Oklahoma.  During a 2008-09 deployment with Operation Iraqi Freedom he worked as a combat advisor for the Iraqi Army Infantry Officer School in Kirkush, Iraq.  

Mr. Ratcliff is an avid outdoorsman where he spends time hunting and fishing and enjoys traveling with his wife Angie and two sons Forrest and Stuart.  You can reach him at dratcliff@rose.edu.
