Big Ideas, Big Wins: Rose State Marketing Team Earns Multiple OCPRA Awards

Rose State College’s Marketing and Communications team celebrated an award-winning evening at the 34th Annual Oklahoma College Public Relations Association (OCPRA) Awards Competition, earning multiple honors, including one of the competition’s most prestigious recognitions.

The awards were presented on Monday, July 20, 2026, during the OCPRA Annual Conference. This year’s competition featured 622 entries from colleges and universities across Oklahoma, recognizing the state’s best work in higher education marketing and communications.

Since 1992, the OCPRA Awards Competition has celebrated excellence in public relations, marketing, advertising, graphic design, photography, writing, social media, video production, and more. The annual competition includes 55 award categories and showcases the creativity, innovation, and impact of communications professionals from Oklahoma’s public and private colleges and universities.

The award-winning Marketing and Communications team at Rose State College is dedicated to telling the College’s story through creative design, strategic communications, engaging content, photography, videography, and marketing campaigns that connect with students, employees, alumni, and the community. This year’s statewide recognition reflects the team’s collaborative approach and commitment to excellence.

Leading the way for Rose State, David Hamric earned the coveted Best in Show honor for his RSC Coffee with President Hurst event poster, placing his work among the very best submissions in this year’s statewide competition.
