Multifactor Authentication Configuration Instructions

MFA Text Message Instructions

  • 1. Login | Microsoft 365 Copilot
  • 2. Click “Sign In”.
  • 3. Enter email address.
  • 4. Enter password. Click “Sign In”.
  • 5. Click “Next”.
  • 6. Click “I want to set up a different method”.
  • 7. Click “Phone”.
  • 8. Enter your 10-digit phone number. Click “Next”.
  • 9. Verify your are human by entering the captcha shown on the screen. Click “Next”.
  • 10. Enter the code you received by text message. Click “Next”.
  • 11. Click Next.
  • 12. Click Done.
  • 13. The website will make you receive another MFA code by text to verify.
  • 14. Enter the code received by text. Click “Next”.
  • 15. Click “Yes” through this window.
  • 16. Multifactor Authentication Setup is complete.

Microsoft 365 Apps

  • After completing the SSO login setup select the “Office 365” icon. The [email protected] email format will be used as the username. The password will be the same password for SSO.
  • 1. To Access your Microsoft 365 apps click “Apps” in the lower left corner.
  • 2. Microsoft Apps can be used from the browser or installed on a device. Up to 5 devices can have the software installed including phones, tablets, PCs and Macs. Choose the “Install Apps” icon in the top right corner.
  • 3. Choose “Microsoft 365 apps” from the drop-down menu to start the install process. It might be necessary to manually uninstall older Microsoft software if the installation does not complete.
