Rose State College’s TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program held its Annual Awards Banquet this spring, honoring the outstanding academic achievements, persistence, and leadership of TRIO participants. The banquet was a joyful and inspiring evening, focused on the transformative impact of the TRIO program and recognizing students who have gone above and beyond in their educational journeys.
Hosted in the College’s FNB Community Bank ballroom, the event welcomed TRIO students, their families, faculty, and staff for an evening filled with recognition, reflections, and celebration. The evening featured speeches from TRIO advisors, student testimonials, and an overview of the year’s accomplishments.
Students were recognized not only for their academic excellence but also for their active participation in TRIO services such as academic advisement, tutoring, workshops, and campus visits. The banquet highlighted the value of community and the robust support network TRIO creates for students navigating their college experience.

TRIO SSS at Rose State College is part of a federally funded national initiative through the U.S. Department of Education. The program provides comprehensive support to help students persist, graduate, and transfer to four-year universities. Services include:
