Want to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges many people face in our community?
This eye-opening experience is designed to deepen empathy, spark important conversations, and inspire real change in our community. Whether you are a faculty member, staff member, student, or serve in the community, your participation matters!
Participants:
We need at least 25 people to step into the shoes of someone experiencing poverty. This hands-on simulation will provide you with a deeper understanding of the daily challenges faced by low-income families.
Volunteers:
We need 15 volunteers to help facilitate the event and ensure everything runs smoothly.

If you sign up, please commit to attending! The simulation requires a specific number of participants to take place. If you have signed up and are unable to attend, please notify us immediately by emailing [email protected] or calling 405-736-0344 by the July 16, 2025, registration deadline.
Why should you sign up?
Optional Donation:
We encourage participants to bring two personal care products (such as toiletries or hygiene items) to donate. Items collected will go directly to benefit the Raider Necessities Pantry at Rose State College. Donations are optional, and no one will be turned away if unable to donate.
