NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Program Goals & Outcomes

Advance your fitness expertise with the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist micro-credential. This micro-credential combines a prep course for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam, passing the NSCA CSCS exam, and current CPR/AED certification by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. This credential is valuable for students or working professionals seeking to enhance athletic performance for competitive, tactical, or occupational athletes across youth, recreational, collegiate, and professional levels.

All micro-credentials are fully stackable with all other academic programs, allowing students to build customized pathways toward certificates, associate degrees, or even bachelor’s degrees.

Students must complete the required coursework or training to earn this micro-credential.

  • Complete the Rose State College NSCA CSCS Prep Course.
  • Complete a CPR/AED certification course by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

After completing this micro-credential, you will receive a digital badge to showcase your skills. This badge highlights your expertise in strength and conditioning for athletic performance enhancement.
