Small Business Startup: Essentials w/ Digital Marketing, Community & Servant Leadership

This micro-credential prepares learners to launch and manage a small business through foundational training in management, accounting, budgeting, and digital marketing. Participants learn how to create a business plan, manage daily operations, and build an online presence to reach customers and grow their business.

All micro-credentials are fully stackable with all other academic programs, allowing students to build customized pathways toward certificates, associate degrees, or even bachelor’s degrees.

Students must complete the required coursework or training to earn this micro-credential.

Complete all three (3) courses with a “C” or better.

Students who complete this micro-credential will receive a digital badge validating their foundational knowledge and skills in launching and managing a small business. The badge can be shared with employers and/or added to a resume and LinkedIn profile.

Rose State College and other Oklahoma colleges and universities have memorandums of understanding, which identify course equivalencies between both institutions. These agreements aid transfer students.
