Rose State College Honors ZDEN Technologies with Regents Business Partnership Excellence Award

Innovative Tenant of Aerospace and Cybersecurity Incubator Drives Local Economic Growth and National Security Impact

Rose State College selects ZDEN Technologies, LLC for the 2025 Regents Business Partnership Excellence Award (RBPEA), acknowledging its significant collaboration with the College’s Workforce Development.

ZDEN Technologies, a defense systems integration company, was one of the first tenants to establish operations in Rose State’s cutting-edge Aerospace and Cybersecurity Incubator. Since its inception, the Incubator has served as a launchpad for innovation in two of the state’s highest-demand sectors—aviation and cybersecurity—contributing to Oklahoma’s growing reputation as a national hub for defense-related technological advancement.

Through this strategic partnership, ZDEN has accelerated regional economic development by:

  • Bringing advanced research and development contracts to Oklahoma
  • Bolstering critical supply chains
  • Creating high-quality, technology-driven jobs

“The collaboration between ZDEN Technologies and Rose State College exemplifies the core mission of the RBPEA program—creating impactful public-private partnerships that drive innovation and workforce development in Oklahoma,” said Dr. Whitney Alvis, Dean of RSC Workforce Development. “ZDEN’s presence enriches our campus environment and aligns closely with national defense priorities.”

The RBPEA grant includes $1,000 in support—$500 from Rose State College matched by a $500 grant from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. These funds will be used further to enhance the partnership through opportunities such as:

  • Tuition assistance for ZDEN employees
  • Paid internships for Rose State students
  • Faculty externships and collaborative projects
  • Acquisition of training equipment and resources

The College extends its sincere thanks to all who joined the celebration, a day marked by a spirit of collaboration, optimism, and a shared vision for the future of innovation in Oklahoma.
