Rose State College Quiz Bowl Team Excels at Snow Bowl Invitational

The Rose State College Quiz Bowl team delivered an impressive performance at the Snow Bowl Invitational Tournament held in Garden City, Kansas. Competing against thirteen teams from across Oklahoma and Kansas, RSC secured a strong fourth-place finish in a highly competitive field.

One standout from the tournament was RSC team member Cassidy McIntyre, who earned top honors as the highest scorer of the entire event. McIntyre averaged 72.5 points per game, showcasing remarkable depth of knowledge and competitive skill.

“We are very proud of the RSC quiz bowl team members who competed at Garden City,” said Quiz Bowl Coach, Dr. Amy Hurst. “Every time the students compete, they are developing skills they will use for the remainder of their academic and professional careers.”

Looking ahead, the team will host the sectional tournament on January 23 at Rose State College, where they hope to continue their strong momentum.
