Basic Additive Manufacturing
Program Goals & Outcomes
For those interested in careers in simulation technology, engineering technology, or related fields, this is the first in a series of stackable credentials for Additive Manufacturing. To achieve basic-level proficiency, a student has demonstrated: an understanding of three-dimensional CAD software, the knowledge required to operate a 3D printer, and an ability to identify various additive manufacturing technologies.
All micro-credentials are fully stackable with all other academic programs, allowing students to build customized pathways toward certificates, associate degrees, or even bachelor’s degrees.
Students must complete the required coursework or training to earn this micro-credential.
