How to Apply
Apply Online
Ready to fill out an application? Choose what is most convenient for you — applying online, in person on the Rose State campus, or by mail.
Once your application for admission has been accepted, you will receive a series of emails outlining your next steps. After your application is complete, you can learn more about enrolling in classes here.
Students with a registration hold will not be able to use online enrollment until the hold is removed. A registration hold may be on a student’s record due to a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to: a student’s academic standing, unsubmitted document(s) or transcript(s), or fee balance or penalty. Students must contact the appropriate office to have the hold addressed.
Apply on Campus
Submit the following at the Administration Building:
- High school/GED transcript(s)
- Transcript(s) for college credit completed
- Test scores (ACT/SAT or placement)
Enrollment may be limited without transcripts and/or scores.
Students can complete the application using the Kiosks located at the Jeanie Webb Student Union, in the Joe & Charlene Cole Student Services office.
If necessary, you will take a computerized test (Next Generation ACCUPLACER) in the areas of Reading, English, and/or Math. Next Generation ACCUPLACER is used only to place you in the appropriate level classes. It is not an admission test, and the results will have no effect on your acceptance as a student at Rose State College.
An Academic Advisor will then meet with you to discuss your academic goals and review test scores or transcripts to recommend appropriate class selection.
