Military Dependent/Adult Civilian Scholarships
As a military community, we do have some donors associated with the military who have a special interest in assisting military families. Tinker Federal Credit Union reaches out to the military community through military spouses and adult civilians who also have a vested interest in supporting military families. To apply for these division scholarships, please complete the General Scholarship Application open January 1st with a priority deadline of April 1st.
Military Dependent/Adult Civilian Scholarship Opportunities Lt. Vernon R. Butler U.S. Navy Memorial Scholarship
Established by the Military Officers Association in 2007, this scholarship is to be awarded to a military dependent in memory of the many years of service provided by Lt. Butler in the Navy followed by his commitment to sailors and Marines through his retirement. at Tinker Air Force Base holding the rank of E-1 to E-6, and five scholarships are available for non-military adults; age 24 and older.
Tinker Federal Civic Leaders Scholarship (also noted in Leadership Scholarships)
Thanks to an annual financial commitment from Tinker Federal Credit Union, Rose State College created the Tinker Federal Civic Leaders Program. This is the first RSC program focused on Tinker Air Force Base military dependents as well as the adult student population in Eastern Oklahoma County. The Tinker Federal Civic Leaders Program is an intense leadership development program that includes character training, communication skills, teamwork, and much more. Five scholarships are available for the spouses of active duty military members stationed at Tinker Air Force Base holding the rank of E-1 to E-6, and five scholarships are available for non-military adults; age 24 and older.
Tinker Leadership Development Association Scholarship
Established by the Tinker Leadership Development Association, the recipient of this scholarship must be an employee, either civilian or military, of Tinker Air Force Base.available for non-military adults; age 24 and older.
