Boeing Invests $35,000 in Rose State Students Pursuing STEM and Workforce Careers

A $35,000 gift from Boeing to the Rose State College Foundation will help students prepare for careers in science, technology, engineering, and other workforce fields.

Fifteen Rose State students have been selected to receive Boeing Scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year. Each recipient will receive $2,500, divided equally between the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.

The recipients study cybersecurity, engineering, physics, and engineering technology—fields that help meet the demand for skilled professionals in Oklahoma’s aerospace, defense, and technology industries.

The scholarships provide financial support that extends beyond students’ college bills. After college charges are satisfied, recipients may receive any remaining scholarship funds, giving them additional flexibility as they pursue their education.

The committee selected recipients based on academic performance and representation across eligible majors.

The 2026–2027 Boeing Scholarship recipients are Laura Lint, Charles Gardener, Bee (Bernice) Spiker, Keaton Peavler, Nina Garcia, Georgia Bear, Felix Gulley, Cody Herba, Sophia Sloan, Lacy (Levi) Hurt, Collin Bozarth, Bryna Barkley, John Taloa, Nick Summit and Camron Cosby Snow.

Beyond financial assistance, Rose State is coordinating guided tours of Boeing facilities for students and employees. The tours will give participants a chance to explore career pathways, learn about the company’s operations, and see its work firsthand.

Boeing’s investment helps Rose State students continue their education while preparing to contribute their skills to the workforce. By connecting scholarship support with opportunities to explore industry careers, the partnership helps students see how their education can translate into professional opportunities.
