Program Goals & Outcomes

This certificate program prepares the individual to work in the bookkeeping department of an entity. It emphasizes basic accounting and bookkeeping skills while preparing them to take the test for national certification.

Professional Bookkeeping Certificate Required Courses
(18 hours)

To receive a certificate, students must earn a “C” or better in these courses. The certificate will be awarded upon degree completion unless the student opts out in writing to the Graduation Office before graduation.

  • ACCT 2723 Professional Bookkeeping+
  • BA 2413 Business Ethics
  • BA 2503 Business Communication
