The Rose State College Foundation hit a hole-in-one for student success, raising a record-breaking $54,000 at its annual Golf Tournament on September 25, 2026, at John Conrad Regional Golf Course.
The tournament welcomed 144 golfers across 36 teams, bringing together community partners, businesses, and supporters for a day of friendly competition and philanthropy. This year’s fundraising total exceeded the previous record by more than $4,000, generating enough additional funds to support four more student scholarships.
“The success of this year’s tournament reflects the incredible generosity of our community and its commitment to helping Rose State students succeed,” said RSC Executive Director of RSC Foundation and Resource Development Dr. Anita Poole-Endsley. “Every dollar raised creates opportunities for students to pursue their educational goals, and breaking our fundraising record means we can make an even greater impact.”
The tournament featured two competitive flights, with teams recognized for their performances.
Flight 1 Winners:
- First Place: Team Jurassic
- Second Place: AT&T
- Third Place: FNB Community
Flight 2 Winners:
- First Place: Weapons of Grass Destruction
- Second Place: South Point Advertising
- Third Place: OG&E
Among the tournament’s top competitors were Team Jurassic, represented by Ray Gamino, Rick James, Brian Bachman and Clay Bartrug; AT&T, represented by Dylan McGill, Parker Burnet, Zac Baker and Chris Leland; and FNB Community, represented by John Croak, Alex Lancaster, Austin Waddle and Drake Mouse.
The first-place team in Flight 2, Weapons of Grass Destruction, included Aaron Vogel, Corey Edwards, Chris Lynn and David Garner.
This year, the tournament also incorporated Zeffy, an online payment platform, allowing participants to make convenient, on-site payments throughout the event.
Proceeds from the annual tournament support the Rose State College Foundation’s mission to expand educational opportunities through student scholarships and academic program enhancements. The event also strengthens relationships between the College and community partners committed to student success and workforce development.
“The Foundation Golf Tournament is about more than a day on the course. It’s about investing in students and creating opportunities that can change lives,” said RSC President Travis Hurst. “We are grateful to every sponsor, golfer, and volunteer who helped make this year’s event our most successful yet.”
The Rose State College Foundation extends its appreciation to the participating teams, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners whose continued support helps remove financial barriers and make higher education more accessible.
