Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy
While receiving Federal Aid, Oklahoma’s Promise or Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant, students must meet certain minimum standards. These standards are referred to as Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). It is the student’s responsibility to know and understand these requirements. In short, a student must complete their degree within a specified number of hours, meet both a minimum cumulative GPA requirement AND meet the minimum pace (completion percentage) requirement to remain eligible for aid. Students who do not meet these requirements as defined in the policy will lose their eligibility for aid until such time as they are meeting the requirements. Should you have any questions about SAP please contact the RSC Financial Aid Office.
