Rose State Media Group

Your Voice on Campus

The Rose State Media Group houses both the award-winning 15th Street News and the student-run magazine The 6420. Together, they provide the Rose State community with timely news, in-depth features, and engaging entertainment—all from a local perspective.

All the latest issues are available on newsstands in every campus building.

Get Involved

Both publications are always looking for passionate volunteers and fresh story ideas. Whether you’re a budding journalist, photographer, or designer—or just have a great story to share—we’d love to hear from you.

Recognized by both the Oklahoma Press Association and the Oklahoma Collegiate Media Association, the 15th Street News is your source for monthly newspapers and regularly updated online content at rosestatemediagroup.com. As a designated public forum, the newspaper offers a platform for student voices and encourages submissions from students, faculty, and staff.

Launched in Spring 2018, The 6420 is a student-run magazine published each semester. It delivers a local, in-depth look at events and people shaping campus life. The magazine highlights the extraordinary stories happening right here at Rose State.
