- Talk to your doctor about pain-relief alternatives to opioids
- Only take your medication as prescribed
- Do not share medication with friends or family
- Lock up medication and dispose of excess medication properly
- Be aware that counterfeit pills can cause accidental overdoses

HEPS also able to customize training options for departments and divisions or individual students, faculty and staff to meet their specific needs.
