At Rose State College, learning extends beyond traditional education. Our Community Learning Center (CLC) offers engaging, hands-on courses designed to enhance creativity, skill development, and personal enrichment. Whether you’re looking to learn a new hobby, refine your artistic talents, or connect with others in a welcoming environment, we have a program for you.
The Community Learning Center offers non-credit classes for all ages. CLC classes are available to all Rose State College students, faculty, staff, and the community. CLC classes are available for kids, teens, and adults/seniors. Courses offered range from 1-day to 16-week classes.
CLC Classes Offered
Creative Painting
Using a different creative prompt each night, students have the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and explore painting in a whole new way. All skill levels welcome.
Mixed Media
Students learn how to use several types of mediums including paint, paper, stencils, inks and more to bring art to life in a fun and unique way. All skill levels welcome.
Quilting
The goal of this class is to have fun while learning all aspects of quilt making. All skill levels welcome.
